Although there are many PC optimizers


There are times when you may feel that your PC is running slow, web pages are taking too long to load and the folder is opening after a while. These are all signs that your PC is struggling with something that is not normal. These things can also happen on any new PC if it is used for a few months. Don’t blame your PC for this kind of stuff, it has the potential to collect a lot of junk items or files for which it is taking too long to process your request. It's time to optimize your PC.


Although there are many PC optimizers available on the internet these days and there are paid software for most of them, you definitely don't need to pay for this software, you can do PC optimization yourself without paying anything. It is very easy to clean your PC without any kind of technical knowledge. All you have to do is do the following and your computer will be back to normal, just a few clicks.


Remove unnecessary programs: Go to Control Panel and they will pop up a list of programs and features and software that is currently installed on your PC. Take a closer look at the list and remove any programs you no longer use. It will also free up some disk space on your hard drive that you can use to store important files.


Disk Cleanup: Click the Start button then look for Accessories then System Tools and Disk Cleanup Utility. This little tool will help you to delete junk items and temporary internet files from your PC, it will also free up some disk space for you.


Customize Startup Items: If your PC is taking too long to get started, consider reviewing startup items. Press Windows + R to open the Run box, type the command MSCONFIG and go to the Startup tab. Carefully check all startup items and disable the unwanted application from running at startup.


Hard Disk Optimization: Click the Start button then look for Accessories then System Tools and Disk Defragmenter Utility. It may take some time to transfer files and optimize your disk drive.


Windows Update: Make sure Windows updates are turned on and your computer is regularly checking for new updates. This will solve most of the security related issues on your computer as well as keep your computer up to date. Your computer should be checked for new updates at least once a week.


Antivirus Scan: Make sure you are using a reputable antivirus protection and that it is regularly updated with virus definitions. Most good antivirus software has built the PC Optimizer utility to optimize your computer from time to time. You should run a full scan of your computer at least once a week.


Aside from the above, if you keep your PC RAM low, it can also increase your computer's virtual memory. You may also consider optimizing Windows articles. Consider using the Optimizer or Registry Cleaner utility.
